Responsibilities

Admissions Assistant

Our community has an opportunity for a driven, caring, passionate Admissions Assistant. In this role, you will maintain daily contact with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies, serve as a resource for member care planning activities as well as participate in direct/indirect care and quality improvement activities. You'll also work with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage word-of-mouth referral activities.

Qualifications

  • Potential candidate must possess a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a long-term skilled nursing facility.
  • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence and policy procedure manuals.
  • Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in statistical or diagram form.
  • Can demonstrate an ability to function independently and possess strong leadership skills.
  • Establishes and maintain positive relations with residents, families, staff and visitors.
  • Has knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment
