Responsibilities

Director of Nursing, RN

Our community currently has an opening for a dynamic Director of Nursing to be a leader in our community with the following qualities and attributes:

The Director of Nursing will also conduct regular rounds to assure nursing practices and services provide a safe and clean environment. They will interview and select new nursing staff as well as train and evaluate the nursing team, and develop and maintain nursing care objectives.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with a valid license in our state.
• Previous long-term care experience as a Director of Nursing Services is desired.
• Have experience in performance management and effective leadership.
• Able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with others at all levels.
• Demonstrates understanding of state and federal regulations that govern the practices of the facility.

• We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment.
