RMS’s Art Director will be a creative force behind design experiences across multiple mediums from video to online, that engage customers and prospects and drive lead generation opportunities. As a creative lead for the company, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing strategic concepts, designs, and creative solutions across a wide range of thought leadership, lead generation and product launch projects and campaigns
• Developing high impact content for use across vehicles and media including but not limited to live and online events and webinars, online advertising, lead generation opportunities, customer portals, and social media
• Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
• Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology
• Providing creative direction to agencies and internal creative and production resources on marketing campaigns and launch materials including videos, animations, interactive, presentations, online and printed marketing collateral and associated templates and assets
• Inspiring and directing other creative team members to deliver high quality work and grow creatively and professionally

Qualities

• Highly resourceful and collaborative and can lead by example and positively motivate creative resources
• Hands-on designer that sets the internal standards for design excellence
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment while able to stay focused and calm
• Good communicator who can sell concepts and ideas
• Years of experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from concept development to overseeing production on time and budget
• Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understands offline and print
• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives

Experience

• 20 years of related experience with 7 years of creative direction in agency or corporate setting
• Specific experience concepting and producing video content
• Proficiency with key software programs such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as video editing software
• Previous supervisory responsibilities or leadership of virtual teams
• BA in Graphic Design or equivalent. Graduate work in Graphic Design or Fine Art helpful but not required
