Job Title: Operations Cordinator TX
Direct the operation of the business unit effectively, complying with the quality standards, policies and procedures of RGF, in addition to ensuring compliance with the financial and organizational objectives coming from the Senior Management of RGF.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in overseeing the smooth running of the storage procedure, from the storage logistics, to supervising an eye on the warehouse workers – scheduling shifts and ensuring staff are adequately trained, building professional teams in logistics. Its mission will be to plan, direct and coordinate the supply, replacement, storage and distribution activities of the company's materials and products. One of its primary objectives is to optimize both the warehouse space and the tasks carried out there.
They have a deep understanding of contemporary food storage, sourcing and distribution practices including, but not limited to, occupational health regulations, safety regulations, budget management, warehouse planning and administration, personnel management and supervision, method FIFO and UEPS, OHSAS.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and distribute the functions of the staff to meet the objectives.
- Verify the products that are entering the Warehouse and apply the correct inventory rotation according to expiration dates.
- Inventory forecasting.
· Manage departmental Budget.
- Keep the product Kardex’s in order and duly updated.
- Comply with the established KPIs of the Warehouse and Logistics area.
- Ensure the order and control of inventories, according to what is established in the procedures.
- Efficiently use the company's resources to guarantee the satisfaction of our clients.
- Verify that the storage, packaging and dispatch activities are carried out in an adequate manner, according to what is indicated in the respective procedures.
- Supervise the cleaning, Sanitation and appropriate environmental conditions for the products.
- Train the personnel under their charge on Good Storage Practices and Good practices in the dispatch.
- Properly control and record product returns.
- Supervise the maintenance of the dispatch fleet and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with special product organization requirements.
- Ensure that warehouse personnel comply with established procedures for the protection of occupational safety and products.
Qualifications
· Industrial engineering degree, Business Administration Degree or related discipline required.
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in all aspects of Warehouse and Logistics.
· Experience in perishable food logistics industry preferred.
· Be able to speak Spanish.
