RieLes Group is seeking two (2) qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to join our growing team. This position is located at the Federal Correctional Institution, FCI, in Terminal Island, CA.

Specific duties may include but not limited to:

• Provide Direct patient care
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Perform skin testing
• Take medical histories, examine patients, order, and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Perform venipuncture for the purpose of obtaining laboratory specimens
•  Maintain accurate logs of all reports in accordance with Bureau of Prisons and JACHO policy Screen laboratory tests/results for normal/abnormal lab values and notify the physician or physicians
• Ensure all sharps objects are secured, accounted for, stored, and disposed of according to institutional and national policy
•  Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Ability and skill to operate EKG
• Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems
• Manages the daily operation of the clinic and conducts daily sick call, which may include securing health histories from the patient, recording findings and providing clinical evaluations
• Providing a wide range of emergency services, in the absence of the physician

Qualifications:

• Must have a full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any state within the United States or territory
• Must be CPR Certified
• Must have current BLS from the American Heart Association
• Must have three (3) years of experience
• Must be able to pass background check
• Must be free of communicable diseases
• Must have current tuberculosis testing
