Rieles Group is Hiring a Primary Care Physician Near Columbia, SC
RieLes Group is looking for a Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join our team! The PCP in this position will provide care to Veterans at various private hospital, office, or clinic environments throughout the Columbia, South Carolina and surrounding regions.
Primary Care Physicians will offer medical health care (physically on site and by telehealth). In addition to providing primary care services, the PCP may also offer support services such as pharmacy, laboratory, and x-ray.
Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- The PCP’s daily schedule includes twelve (12) - thirty (30) minute slots per day. May be used to accommodate established (30 minutes) and/or new (60 minutes) patient appointments. Appointments shall be face to face, telephonic or VA Video Connect (VVC)
- PCP shall be expected to remain on duty until all patients have been treated and released
- Must comply with VA requirements for documentation of care in the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS). Electronic entry and signing of orders are required
- Patient appointments must be set within fourteen (14) working days of receipt of desired date
- PCP shall take part in Quality Assurance Programs, as required
- PCP shall be actively involved in Patient Complaint Resolution
- Must comply with any mandatory annual medical/government required training, health, and immunization requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have a current, full, and unrestricted license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- Must be a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O) who is board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Medicine
- Foreign medical graduate physicians shall possess a valid certificate from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates
- Must have current DEA certificate
- Must have or obtain appropriate National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Must comply with any mandatory health and immunization requirements
