RieLes Group, LLC is looking for a Medical Records Clerk to join our team! Services will be performed within the Health Services Units of the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp located in Marianna, FL.

Specific responsibilities include but will not limited to:

• Filing hard copy Medical Records in terminal digit order
• Scheduling patients for medical appointments
• Maintaining confidentiality of medical records in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 and Bureau of Prisons regulations
• Reviewing medical records for medical and legal completeness and accuracy
• Maintaining medical records and filing reports as needed
• Scheduling inmates for in-house diagnostic studies and specialty medical services. Routinely retrieving and entering information regarding callouts and appointments
• Entering sensitive medical data (SMD) and inmate restrictions, daily, into the computer system ensuring data is complete and within guidelines.
• Processing and tracking new admission inmates for medical clearance to ensure compliance with BOP policy
• Utilizing the Bureau's Electronic Medical Record (BEMR) to access inmate medical records

Qualifications:

• Must pass security clearance
• Must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Must be free of infectious diseases
• Must possess the ability to work with an inmate population from a variety of cultural, regional, racial, and ethnic backgrounds
• Must have knowledge of routine office related duties including a working knowledge of computers and word processing programs
• Must possess the ability to file various documents in chronological order
• Must possess good organizations skills, good interpersonal relationship skills and be able to work effectively with medical staff
