Ridgecrest Conference Center is Hiring a Laundry Worker, Part Time Near Ridgecrest, NC
Description
Performs laundry and cleaning activities within well-established guidelines and assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Operate washers and dryers as necessary to provide linen for facility use
- Sort linen for processing
- Fold, counts, and bundle linen and other laundered items and return to proper linen storage areas
- Sets reject linen aside for supervisor’s attention
- Performs cleaning duties in the laundry area
- Reports maintenance needs to supervisor concerning equipment and structure
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Personal cleanliness
- Pleasant, tactful, courteous, and cooperative
- Proficient in working with the public
Education, Work Experience, and Other Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED desired
- Hospitality or service work experience (3 months minimum)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Walking and standing on concrete floors for a period of up to two hours
- Free range of motion including twisting, bending, stooping, and climbing
