You are a technical professional who will lead the design, test, development, and/or support of software for Ricoh products or systems. As a Senior Print Software Engineer/Architect, you will provide technical direction and leadership in the development of highly complex and significant products which may be produced across many functions. Recognized externally by customers or internally by the technical community as a technical leader or expert in your field.

Product Description:

Ricoh Supervisor is a business intelligence platform that helps Ricoh customers gain insights into the operations of the print shop business.

Software Architect Responsibilities:

• Creating competitive and innovative solutions that help commercial print customers address the challenges they face. 
• Working closely with the product owner to break down marketing requirements into user stories, prioritizing the backlog and scheduling the work for the development team. 
• Translating marketing requirements into technical specifications. 
• Defining and evolving the serverless and server based microservice architecture. 
• Researching and exploring new technologies to implement proof of concepts for new functions. 
• Exploring predictive and prescriptive data analytics using ML and AI.
• Defining and implementing structured software engineering practices to ensure code quality. 
• Overseeing the code review process, promoting test driven development and unit testing.
• Improving quality assurance automation by developing a plan to minimize the manual validation. 
• Coordinating efforts between the development, CICD and Infrastructure teams to streamline deployments and ensure that the product infrastructure is up to date.
• Interfacing with development a quality assurance management to provide status. 
• Participating in Sprint planning, grooming meetings, demos and retrospectives.
