Overview
Rick Burns Orthodontics is growing and looking to add to our clinical team in our Elkhart and Middlebury offices. We are looking for a talented, passionate, individual with an upbeat attitude, to focus on our patients' experience. We have opportunities for growth, as well as ongoing training provided by our clinical coordinator and other staff members, to smoothly transition you into your new professional home.
Dr. Burns has been an orthodontist in the Elkhart/Middlebury area for 30 years. Dr. Burns is a top provider of Invisalign treatment since 2018. He has mentored a wonderful team that our patients love!
Our compensation package includes; competitive hourly rate, medical/dental insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick days, free orthodontic care for yourself and immediate family, uniforms, life insurance, birthday pay to take time off and celebrate, and bonus opportunities!
Responsibilities
- Assist Dr. Burns with all orthodontic procedures
- Chart procedures with accuracy
- Digital scan all records with an occasional impression
- Sterilization
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Greet and seat patients in a friendly, upbeat manner
- Be a cheerleader for our practice
- Comply with universal precautions and infection control
Qualifications
- Prior DA experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- X-ray certified preferred, but will cover the cost for certification
- Excellent, professional interpersonal communication skills
- Bilingual is a plus, but not necessary
- Intermediate to excellent computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and maintain a calm demeanor
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Work at both Elkhart and Middlebury locations
- Work Mon-Thurs (32-38 hours)
Pay Rate: $18 - $28 per hour (based on dental aptitude; can increase with orthodontic proficiency)
