Applicant should have general knowledge of automotive parts and repairs. Applicant must have a neat and clean appearance; and excel in a fast pace environment.

JOB SUMMARY: Assists customers and Service Technicians, retail and wholesale customers by providing and ordering parts and accessories for Ford and Chrysler vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist customers in selecting requested parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. As well as providing knowledge of companion part requirements.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information.
• Provide high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Notify the service advisor and the customer when special orders have been received.
• Organize orders, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts.
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Participate in training programs that are made available.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
