Overview

Rhinestahl’s dynamic and versatile team in the warehouse is looking for a Warehouse Specialist. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate receipt, movement, and shipping of all products in the warehouse. 

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and move material in the warehouse.
• Perform warehouse picking activities to facilitate accurate shipments from inventory
• Build and repair crates to pack orders for shipment.
• Input data into an ERP system
• Ensure all paperwork is properly completed for shipment, including BOLs, receipts, and customs forms.
• Work with Inbound and outbound freight carriers and forwarders to ensure shipments are accurate and on time.
• Interact with customer logistics teams to facilitate timely outbound shipping.
• Track inventory using cycle counts and assist in reconciliation of inventory issues as they arise.
• Perform general building janitorial activities as necessary.
• Perform other duties and specific projects as assigned.
• Maintain packing material stock
• Assist in identifying new procedures and methods to expedite the import and export of shipments and create a cost savings if appropriate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in a warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing shipping/receiving environment
• Minimum of three years’ experience operating a forklift truck and ability to become certified

• Prior experience using ERP systems for warehouse activities
• Experience arranging freight collection and deliveries with domestic and international carriers.

• Ability to design and build crates for the overseas shipment of fragile goods and complex product geometry
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment such as saws, nail gun, tape machine, foam machine, etc.
• Experience with international logistics and US Customs regulations
• Computer knowledge – Excel, Word, data entry
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus
• Extreme attention to detail; organized, and accurate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience and preference working in a team environment
