RHINESTAHL CORPORATION is Hiring a CNC MACHINIST - 3RD SHIFT Near Mason, OH

Overview

Rhinestahl, AMG – Advanced Manufacturing Group, is experiencing significant growth and is looking to hire skilled machinists to set up and operate VTL, Horizontal Boring Mill, Mazak Integrex, and Hurco machining centers. Rhinestahl AMG is looking for machinists who want to work on the following machines: Toshiba 130, EDM, Micron, Haus, Mazak Integrex and more. Responsibilities

  • Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Sets up machine as appropriate to machine specifications; Runs 1st part; Proves-out; Runs production.
  • Loads stock into position.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, & sample work adhering to international standards.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Education – HS Diploma / GED or equivalent; one-year relevant technical school or equivalent experience preferred
  • Work experience
    • Minimum 3 years’ shop experience using G&M code CNC programming operations
    • VTL machinists must have experience using Fanuc controls; Boring Mill machinists must have experience with Fanuc and/or Tosnuc controls; Mazak machinists must have Mazatrol experience.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of blueprint reading and geometric dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conceptual skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Reading – ability to read, analyze and interpret safety, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and common technical information and reports, including the ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Writing – ability to prepare correspondence that conforms to prescribed style and format
  • Reasoning – ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations, utilizing critical thinking skills
