Responsibilities

Revolution is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is accountable for the business unit's financial accounting and reporting. Reporting to the Business Unit Controller, this position will interact with multiple levels of leadership within the organization.

• Manage and implement processes to improve operations quality, manage cash flow, and generate timely financial reports.
• Handles fixed asset processing and reporting.
• Develop and document internal controls and maintain accounting systems.
• Preparing schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors.
• Prepares monthly business unit variance analysis with department leaders.
• Assists in the implementation of new systems and other special projects.
• Key contributor for month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Supports leadership team with inventory management activities and reporting.
• Assists in preparing various monthly reports for management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
• Provides high-level customer service within the finance department and other business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required; CPA preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Technical accounting/problem-solving skills and attention to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team and be well organized while managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities.
• Advanced Excel reporting (pivot tables and MACROs) and ERP experience.
• Strong and professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and organizational skills.
• Ability to articulate complex business concepts with a high level of acumen and influence decision-makers with thoughtful analysis
• A proactive team player must work well with all functions to encourage productive information exchange.
• Desire to help drive changes through process improvement and knowledge transfer.
