Responsibilities

Revolution is now hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician position in Kilgore, TX. This role will be responsible for repairing, improving, and maintaining all facility equipment. The successful candidate will be capable of working within a team environment and be individually motivated to accomplish goals and objectives.

• Perform all duties in a safe manner in compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Assist all preventative maintenance team on equipment.
• Continually monitor machinery and make necessary adjustment(s) to ensure proper operation.
• Perform all types of mechanical work and electrical repair work related to equipment.
• Repair and possible fabrication of conveyors and component parts.
• Proper use of all welding and cutting equipment related to all phases of metal fabrication and repair.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards.
• Complete all paperwork and/or electronic updates as required.
• Regular use of heavy industrial shop tools and equipment.
• Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
• Continuously look for ways to cut costs without a detriment to the quality of the equipment.
• Learn and increase knowledge on known and unknown equipment.
• Preventive maintenance (check oil levels, change filters, inspect the equipment, repair equipment, etc.)
• Communicate with all levels of Management, including intergroup and intragroup communication.
• Complete assigned tasks as instructed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in welding metal fabrication or completion of 2 year technical training program preferred.
• 1-2 years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Industrial, mechanical, electrical troubleshooting experience required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs. 
• Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate controlled environment.
