Revere Plastics Systems is among the top 20% of injection molders in North America. We are looking for a talented Process Technician/Engineer to join our growing team. This opportunity has the responsibility for supporting complex program launches, where we need expert process engineers to help us get to the finish line; as well as review current programs and machines for improving production efficiency. This role is ideal for those with extensive process engineering experience in the injection molding industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Monitor plant processes for molding machines and make detailed recommendation on how to optimize the manufacturing process.

· Own the process for all manufacturing molding and associated operations.

· Support the Program Managers in meeting samples required for new product releases and / or process evaluations.

· Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and processes.

· Support, Update and improve existing machine technology.

· Assist Manufacturing in the launch of new programs.

· Define specifications for new or improved equipment. Participate in equipment design in coordination with designers, vendors, and other engineers.

· Assist in reducing external PPM.

· Assist in training Process Techs and Operators and Maintenance.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred;

· Three to five years’ experience in troubleshooting injection molding equipment preferred

· Must have good knowledge regarding the design of injection molds and related equipment

· Strong Team Player with exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.

Physical Demands and Working Environment - Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch; Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; Noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
