Revenue Management Analyst is Hiring a Quality Systems & Compliance Manager Near Rochester, NY

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Systems & Compliance Manager will provide leadership in developing, implementing and continuously improving FIFCO USA quality systems while providing technical subject matter expertise in FDA 21 CFR Part 117, Customer and Third-Party (AIB) requirements, GMP documentation/regulations and TTB requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and sustain the FIFCO USA Quality Management Systems in line with required industry standards, accreditation and business requirements across the organization through existing and new policies and procedures. Systems include, but are not limited to, HACCP, Food Defense, Allergen Control, Traceability, Quality Supplier Management – Gatekeeper, Sanitation, Pest Control.
  • Provide leadership in developing, executing and steering required InternProvide leadership in developing, executing and steering required Internal Quality Audits, Second- and Third-Party Audits, Corrective and Preventative Action, Management Review, Calibration, Document and Data Control, Risk Management, Quality Planning, Validation and Control of Nonconforming Material
  • Manage regulatory and customer facing quality processes to provide timely and professional response to complaints, requests for information, quality agreements, and audit needs
  • Primary PCQI (Preventative Controls Qualified Individual) & HACCP lead for facility
  • Ensures the development and maintenance of systems for collecting data, storing and analyzing to identify trends
  • Manage all FIFCO USA facilities (manufacturing plants, warehouses, brewhouses) yearly FDA registration requirements to ensure proper accuracy and timely submission.
  • Delegate’s authority and accountability to staff for appropriate responsibilities and decisions that are consistent with the scope of their capabilities, rules and regulations of regulatory authorities (where applicable), training, and policies of the organization.
  • Ensures work is scheduled effectively; and checkpoints and controls are set for monitoring progress.
  • Manages employee performance by clearly defining job responsibilities and standards of performance; tracking progress against goals; providing clear, thorough, timely feedback; and addressing performance problem issues promptly.
  • Ensure self and staff understand the organizations’ vision, values, goals and strategies and their relationship to their daily work.
  • Ensures self and staff keep up to date on technical knowledge and developments that impact roles. Uses this information to drive improvements and/or prepare for changing requirements.
  • Ensures an effective learning environment by coaching employees, orchestrating learning opportunities, and providing relevant, high-impact feedback.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to ready, analyze and interpret commin trade journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or memebers of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, employees, managers, vendors and customers.

  • Other duties as assigned 

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degreein a Science related field 
  • 5 years related quality assurance/control experience 
  • 2 years in a Quality Management position in a food/beverage production facility and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience in food/beverage processing techniques
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills
  • PCQI 
  • HACCP/HARPC

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS 

  • Must be able to regularly sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands or arms; and walk/climb stairs while carrying samples 
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to and potentially the full shift 
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to occasionally bend, climb, lift, and/or move up to 50 lbs. 
  • Must be able to work with moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels
  • Must be able to work with hazardous chemicals and frequently duck under conveyors and equipment
