As a Business Office Assistant at Revel, you will be embarking on a dynamic career journey with opportunities for growth and advancement. In this role you are a key player supporting the Area Business Office Director of two communities, Revel Vegas and Revel Nevada. Your administrative and organizational skills make you an invaluable member of the team. You consistently go beyond our residents’ and team members' expectations. What you’ll be doing:

  • Engaging with residents, families, guests and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. Answering questions regarding the community (includes current/prospective residents and family members), effectively resolving resident concerns and complaints under the guidance of the Executive Director and Business Office Director (BOD).   • Thriving in the challenges you are faced with daily, from answering calls and welcoming visitors, to supporting the BOD with managing, planning, developing, organizing, scheduling, evaluating and direction of the Concierge department. Assisting the BOD with human resource functions, new hire training, payroll, monthly billing statement generation and supporting collection efforts, accounts receivable and ordering community office supplies.   • Adapting and flexing as you will be called on to support multiple communities remotely, using technology to assist other communities when fellow team members are out of the office. This position will primarily support both Revel Vegas and Revel Nevada and will work from both communities as needed. Assist other Revel communities remotely and electronically when needed.   • Supporting sales efforts by scheduling tours, completing phone inquiries and conducting tours as needed. OWN IT|DON’T SETTLE|BE YOU
  • Encouraging teamwork and collaboration through open communication with other Revel team members in your department and within other departments. BE GRATEFUL|BE BRAVE|BE YOU

Requirements

Your background:

  • 2 years of related business office experience including billing and exceptional customer relations (think “white glove”) within a senior living, hospitality, and/or related industry preferred. You excel in an environment where you have variety in your day-to-day activities.
  • Basic accounting experience is preferred
  • Experience interacting with guests/residents, team members and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
  • Reasoning skills that include the ability to understand issues and process information for giving and receiving feedback and instructions. Proficiency communicating in English.
  • Proficiency with the use of computers, mobile devices (e.g., tablets, iPads), AV equipment/technology, and other office equipment (e.g., phones, scanners, copiers, fax machines, etc.) as well as possess familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Flexibility to work from Revel Vegas or Revel Nevada and to support other communities remotely, as needed.
