We are looking for a pro-active, career focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The TA Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This is a full life cycle recruiting position, to include new hire orientation and onboarding tasks.

What the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for:

· Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

· Works closely with hiring managers to identify and define talent needs to drive company growth.

· Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

· Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes.

· Leverages social media to attract new talent.

· Promotes employer branding on social media platforms. 

· Screens applications, selects qualified candidates and schedules interviews.

· Conducts interviews with managers when applicable and manages the hiring process for off site.

· Collaborates with the hiring manager during the offer process, identifying salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.

· Responsible for onboarding of new hires.

· Ensures an incredible candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

· Provides weekly status reports to HR Director regarding candidate pipeline status and market insights.

· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

· Accurately manages data in Paylocity Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 

· Performs other duties as assigned. 

What experience we are looking for:

· Associates degree or higher

· 1-5 years of full cycle recruitment experience.

· Relevant industry experience in construction and/or labor related fields desired.

· Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

· Hands on experience with job boards, sourcing tools, and/or social media outreach.

· Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Paylocity applicant-tracking software. 

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google platforms.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

· Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

· Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. 

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

· Bachelor’s degree

· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification

· SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential 

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) – both written and verbal

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (in office) 

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 (DOE)
