Restek is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Bellefonte, PA

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist acts as a talent business partner, consulting with hiring managers on all aspects of talent acquisition from recruitment strategy, talent sourcing, candidate selection and presenting/negotiating offers. The Talent Acquisition Specialist develops an understanding of Restek’s talent needs and utilizes strategies to find the best candidates in the shortest period of time.

This position provides guidance to managers and interview teams in understanding our policies and practices and plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing our culture, core values, and reputation as an employer of choice. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must present a positive and professional image to employees, applicants, and customers of Restek and support the core values of Restek at all times.

Job Duties:

  • Serves as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and interview teams.
  • Develops an understanding of Restek’s talent needs and utilizes strategies to decrease the time to fill/hire while providing a robust and diverse talent pool.
  • Manages hourly and entry-level professional recruitment, from requisition to new hire onboarding.
  • Manages requisition approvals within ADP, posts & communicates open positions internally and externally, utilizing appropriate job boards, social media platforms, and advertising channels.
  • Develops and executes innovative sourcing strategies to develop diverse candidate pools for current and future openings and manages the candidate relationship.
  • Manages and drives a structured interview process.
  • Ensures that thorough testing, reference checks and background screenings have been completed prior to candidates starting employment.
  • Manages the offer/negotiation process.
  • Manages the employee referral program including bonus payments, communications with employees and quarterly recognition.
  • Tracks and reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Assists in driving improvements to HR talent acquisition policies, practices and processes.
  • Represents Restek at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, Restek sponsored events, etc.), provides the public with information about Restek and career opportunities.
  • Keeps current with emerging trends and practices within talent acquisition.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information received within the guidelines of professional recruitment in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree in HR, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years recruitment experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge in sourcing and recruiting for specialized and highly competitive roles
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to effectively assess talent and match to company needs
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated knowledge of broad concepts, policies and procedures related to human resources and the talent acquisition processes
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with peers, hiring managers, and prospective applicants is essential
