This position requires a flexible hybrid schedule (3 days in office) and is available in either our NYC or LA offices with travel as needed between each.

Overview

The VP, Creative Operations and Resourcing will use their unique blend of expertise in agency operations, staffing, project management, talent management and interdisciplinary agency outputs to ensure the efficient and effective operation of agency projects and initiatives. The candidate will build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and manage agency workflow, optimize processes, and ensure that projects are executed effectively to the highest level of creative excellence. This role's focus will be at the intersection of three pillars; business, creativity and talent, responsible for organizing these pillars to flourish in a sustainable way. This role reports to the Executive Vice President of People with a strong dotted line into the Chief Creative Officer.

Responsibilities

Support agency-wide creative operations:

  • Work closely with creative teams to define project goals, objectives, staffing requirements and vision for success
  • Identify headcount allocations to accelerate creative team growth to align with business needs from project planning to execution
  • Identify process and organization needed to ensure resourcing is managed effectively across all facets of the business and operations run smoothly to meet client demands
  • Review team burn reports to understand staffing efficiencies and to inform financial health and staff planning
  • Collaborate internally and externally to deliver on project goals, objectives, and strong creative vision
  • Identify and build systems, process and tools needed to effectively manage projects and resourcing
  • Collaborate with finance to manage project budgets, estimates and report on budget variances, ensuring cost-effective frameworks are met
  • Develop, execute, and manage yearly headcount planning cycle as well as end-to-end project plans and ensuring on-time delivery

Agency Resource Management:

  • Strategically manage and develop new resourcing processes to assess project requirements and people development mandates across departments and teams
  • Ensure resource plans align with proper casting and project types
  • Manage resourcing staff and cross-functional resourcing agency teams
  • Advise on best practices for workforce planning (location strategy, experience & talent mix of organization)

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in interdisciplinary agency team management
  • Experience creating and implementing process strategy
  • Experience negotiating, and managing relationships with vendors
  • Experience in project management and creative production
  • Expertise collaborating cross-functionally at all levels of the business

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $175K-$200K and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
