Resourcing Edge, an HR outsourcing company, is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join its growing team. 

Under general direction the Corporate Recruiter plans, organizes, develops, and manages personnel recruiting and job placement activities for the company. Solicits and takes job orders from corporate directors, sources applicants, performs screening and in-depth interviews, and refers candidates to supervisors for employment consideration. Secures background investigations and onboarding documents for new employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities of this job include the following. Other essential duties may be assigned.

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Plans and directs activities of staff in carrying out such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants and clients, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, administering tests, checking references and background, and evaluating applicant qualifications.
  • Manages recruitment process from monitoring budgeted headcounts, job requisition process, posting, screening, sourcing candidates to present to hiring managers for consideration.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Utilizes the ATS solution to post jobs and advertise.
  • Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Interviews and screens candidates for open positions and refers qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration.
  • Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on Glassdoor, LinkedIn and social media)
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintains data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Prepares and analyzes statistical reports and other data to monitor applicant flow, selection, and turnover for compliance with legal regulations and with organization goals and policies.

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

In order to qualify for this job, the incumbent must possess the following qualifications: 

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, marketing, or a related field and five years of human resource management experience including at least two years experience in a corporate recruitment/employment position.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, orally and in writing, from individuals and groups of managers, and candidates, along with the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
  • Must be able to write and orally communicate job offers and rejections, write efficient and effective recruitment advertising, negotiate job offers between subscribers and applicants.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Previous experience in any alternative staffing business and marketing desirable.
