Job Details
JOB DESCRIPTION: Fellow
- Conduct and publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research on environmental, energy, transportation, and natural resource issues through impartial economic research and policy engagement.
- Develop and lead new research projects on environmental, energy, transportation, and natural resource issues; actively participate in communicating research and other policy engagement; participate in fundraising and networking.
- Research and design smart strategies to reduce sectoral and economy-wide emissions of greenhouse gases and policies that confront climate change risks and build resilience.
- Research transportation economics and policies as they affect environmental outcomes, including U.S. federal and state policies affecting light and heavy-duty vehicles, zero carbon transportation technologies, and federal and international policies focused on aviation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Economics with a focus on transportation.
- Must have the ability to develop structural economic models of vehicle demand, supply, and technological innovation to evaluate environmental policies in the transportation sector.
