Resources For Human Development, Inc. is Hiring a Case Manager Near King of Prussia, PA

Description/Job Summary
SIGN-ON BONUS: This position includes a sign-on bonus of $2,000 to be paid after successful completion of 90 days employment.

Rise Above is looking for a Case Manager to complete comprehensive drug & alcohol level of care assessments. In addition, this role includes providing case coordination for non-treatment related service needs. Case Manager should have good clinical skills, strong writing skills, excellent documentation abilities, strong time management skills, ability to navigate multiple systems, knowledge of services offered in Montgomery County, and be highly organized. This position includes local travel to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia are required to follow the COVID vaccine mandate. Revised PDPH guidance allows for new hires to be partially vaccinated at the time of hire. This means they have received at least one shot in a two-dose series or a single dose in a one-dose series before beginning in-person shifts. The final dose must be received within 8 weeks of hire (start date). This currently does not include boosters.
Responsibilities/Duties
Screen to evaluate the need for emergent care for detox, perinatal and prenatal, and/or psychiatric services and to refer as needed
Assess to determine the appropriate level of care and placement determination for treatment
Case Coordination to include assessment of non-treatment related needs that the client may have that do not directly impact level of care and placement decisions but are issues that need to be addressed as part of an individual's recovery process.
Perform comprehensive drug and alcohol evaluations to identify treatment needs (substance abuse and/or mental health) with level of care analysis and clinical summary
Collaborate with funders and partners including Montgomery County Adult Probation, Montgomery County Correctional Facility and Montgomery County Office of Drug and Alcohol to obtain funding and refer clients to the appropriate level of care
Required Experience
Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders is required. Experience working with the criminal justice system is preferred.Required Education
Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services,
OR Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services with at least 2 years related experience
Required Qualifications
Certification or licensure in state of PA preferred. If applicant is not certified or licensed, must be willing to work toward certification and/or licensure.
ASAM certification preferred
Valid Driver's License
