We are now hiring Test Technicians for a manufacturer in San Jose, CA! Our ideal candidate is someone with experience with a high volume PCBA manufacturing environment.

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shifts available
Pay:$20-$35 DOE

Purpose of the Job:

Perform production and developmental testing and troubleshooting for RF Passive and Active electronic hardware.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, and calibrate standard test apparatus or device test equipment to conduct, functional, operational, and environmental tests to evaluate performance and reliability of hardware for Space Flight per the applicable test procedures.

Conduct or witness extensive testing, which includes, cold check, in-process, vibration, thermal, thermal vacuum testing of complex electronic systems, sub-systems and lower level assemblies, utilizing specialized or standard test equipment for conformance to engineering, quality, and other related documentation. Document results and make recommendation for rework or repair.

Use various types of test equipment such as oscilloscopes and Digital Volt Meters, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator and Network Analyzer. Operate basic laboratory equipment such as thermal chambers, ovens, etc. in order to perform environmental tests regarding temperature.

Analyze and interpret electrical/RF test data. Provide diagnostic malfunctions and offer test result feedback to Test/Responsible Engineers.

Requirements and Education:

Read, understand, and follow Quality policies and ISO directives.

1) 2 yrs of RF & PCBA level functional test using test procedure, Schematic & other supply documentation
2) Work in ISO9001:2000/SAE AS9100 Environment
3) Able to lift 32 lbs
4) Must have the ability to test assemblies to verbal or written instructions, or by following Test Process Instruction.
5) Must have understanding of Electrical assemblies.
6) Must be available for OT and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr./wk
