CNC Programmer (2nd Shift)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team for the 2nd shift in Swartz Creek. This position offers an hourly wage of $18-23 based on experience, plus a $2 shift premium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, with the ability to make adjustments on CNC lathes or mills, work with steel and aluminum, and possess excellent math skills.

Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills.

• Make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate and efficient production.

• Work with various materials, including steel and aluminum.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Use calipers, micrometers, and manual micrometers in inches to measure and inspect components.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.

• Ensure high-quality production with great attention to detail.

• Maintain good attendance and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC programmer required.

• Strong math skills and the ability to read manual micrometers in inches.

• Knowledge and experience with calipers and micrometers.

• Great attention to detail and precision.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn and be trained further.
