Waldan Paper Services, LLC, located in Oshkosh, WI, is the leading Flexographic printer and Paper Converting manufacturer in the mid-west; for over 30 years, we have been providing successful solutions and applications for our customers with both our existing product and new product development.

We are hiring a material handler to the Operators for our Printing Departments These positions will work Monday through Friday on 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) and additional hours as needed.

The starting salary is $16.00 per hour. Plus shift differential. Pay is depending on experience. 

Job Overview:

This position pulls and stages raw materials for production usage according to work order requirements and then returns excess materials to proper storage locations. Will also load and unload trucks and assist on production lines as needed. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Read work orders and pick sheets for required materials.

· Review production schedule to determine priority of work orders to pull and stage.

· Pull the correct paper rolls, inks, plates, and all other materials for work orders, staging and prioritizing the materials at the production lines. 

· Lay rolls down to cutting position when production starts work orders.

· Pick up and wrap finished rolls/pallets.

· Assist with shipping and receiving duties.

· Remove waste products from production lines and paper balers.

· Return paper rolls and packaging materials from production lines to the correct inventory locations. 

· Ensure proper labeling, controls, and storage of inventory materials.

· Keep accurate records of materials sent, received and staged on floor. 

· Operate equipment such as forklift, shrink wrap machine and compactor.

· Adhere to all safety guidelines and machine operating procedures. 

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.

· Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

· One to three months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

· Prior experience using industrial vehicles: roll clamp and forklift, preferred.

· Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields, desired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):

· Basic computer knowledge.

· Good communication, decision-making, organizational and prioritizing skills. 

· Ability to use various tools, equipment and industrial vehicles: powered and non-powered hand jacks, roll clamps and forklifts.

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence.

· Ability to work independently, keep self-motivated and work in a team environment.

· Ability to reprioritize workload as needed.

· Ability to work the assigned shift and cover vacations as needed.

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to perform the following activities:

· Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance, occasionally.

· Get on and off lift trucks, frequently.

· Move pallets with hand or powered jack.

· Stand, walk and bend. Reach and grab with hands. 

· Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
