RES is currently accepting applications for the position of Land Representative, based out of our Glen Burnie offices.

This is a key position for our project development team since the Land Rep is the one who brings projects to the team! You will be blanketing MD and beyond in your company truck and developing relationships with the landowners and community business leaders, thus securing property rights and enabling project realization. It involves interaction with many of the RES functions, including sales, regulatory, ecology, construction, analysts, and in-house counsel. You will also talk to outside counsel and Real Estate Broker and Agents. 

What your day-to-day might look like?

What your day-to-day might look like:

This position is on-the-go, and you will spend around 40% of your time visiting landowners around the state.

Around 30% of your time will be dedicated to pre-acquisition and negotiation processes, including purchase and sales agreements and mitigation project agreements. You will also assist in due diligence items including survey and title and assist in the preparation and organization of closing documents. Some assistance will be required for the development of projects in the proposal process for projects in different phases.

Around 30% of your time, you will be doing analytical work - analyzing property data and land records for the suitability of restoration sites, running numbers associated with the acquisition of new land assets, working with management to prepare and maintain monthly cash flow statements, and assisting in creating preliminary project budgets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Real Estate
• 3 or more years in land acquisition and development OR sales.
• Acceptable driving record
• ArcGIS experience
• Passion for environmental stewardship and conservation
