RES is accepting applications for a Field Support Manager to provide broad landscape support to a team of environmental land operators, restoration, and mitigation professionals in our Sacramento, CA office. The position will assist in the stewardship of RES’s portfolio within the Western Region.
While most of your work will be for the Klamath Project, other projects may require out-of-town travel with overnight stays. Note that we perform our work mostly outside and sometimes in harsh and under adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, and exposure to insects including ticks and mosquitoes and exposure to poisonous plants such as poison oak. At times, you will also be lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
40% of your time, you will be repairing farm equipment and infrastructure.
30% of your time you will be performing invasive brush clearing, tree felling, planting, seeding, erosion and sediment controls.
30% of your time, you will be dedicated to planning and coordination, such as material purchasing and scheduling, time keeping and work logs, inventory, setting up seasonal maintenance schedules.
