RES is seeking a Contract Specialist for our Houston, Texas location.
The mission: RES is growing exponentially, and so is the Legal Team that supports the business needs on a regional basis. As part of the Contracts Department, this position will prepare, negotiate, and review services agreements across all regions of the company.
You will work collaboratively with RES’ high-energy, supportive, and hardworking Legal Team. We value initiative and independent judgment in managing assignments and require discretion in the dissemination of information to employees and external business partners. In this role, you will build relationships across all levels of the organization, including with administrative staff, operations teams, sales teams, and management, as well as with external business partners, so superior communication skills will help you thrive.
Your primary tasks include legal drafting, redlines, and reviewing a variety of agreements, including services, procurement, and confidentiality agreements and amendments thereto.
You will negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners and identify and analyze potential risks involved within a contract.
Lastly, you will effectively communicate contract terms to internal business partners and external vendors or clients, as needed.
