JOB FUNCTIONS

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic electrical / Mechanical / Automation systems. Skilled applications to include troubleshooting, proper repair & replacement of machine components.
• Follow leadership directions to perform preventive maintenance and adjustments to standard and automated equipment.
• Partners with the maintenance leadership to assure goals related to delivery are met through accurate repairs and machine performance.
• Works closely with the maintenance lead, the purchasing assistant, and the PM assistant to provide strategic feedback to implement continuous improvement goals related to production performance.
• Can Provide feedback to the Department’s Operation leadership and recommends improvements.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to verbal instructions, layout plans, blueprints, and operating or repair manuals.
• Must always be willing to take safety and /or Resideo's improvement trainings.
• If necessary, must be willing to work, repair or maintain other facility equipment such as compressors, dryers, lights etc.
• Performs electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Following engineering, supervisor, lead or senior technician verbal instructions, program, debug and provide support for automated equipment

JOB DUTIES:

• Perform testing of equipment

• Determine root cause failure of equipment
• Repair and replace defective production equipment
• Prepare and update equipment records
• Maintain work area

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1-2 years' experience on mechanical or electrical related work

• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
• Ability to use computers and computer interfaces; Microsoft Office
• Experience on handling all hand and power tools
• Welding and cutting/grinding
• Tool room lathes and mills
• Electrical Troubleshooting Tools
• Be able to read electrical and mechanical diagrams or prints
• Focus on important information and identify key details
• Clear and concise communications
• Analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
• Extensive relevant experience
