Job Description

Overview

Resia is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join the Marketing & Communications team. The Graphic Designer will create a wide variety of materials across digital and offline media. This includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. This role will be responsible for the shaping the visual aspects of websites, magazines, signage, corporate identity, product packaging, exhibitions, advertisements, multimedia design, presentation, and more while adhering to AHS Residential branding guidelines.

This position reports directly to the company's Brand Communication Manager. Being a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, with excellent communication skills and amazing attention to detail will lead to success in this role.  Creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design is a must.

Responsibilities

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop briefings, brochures, multimedia presentations, web pages, promotional products, technical illustrations, and computer artwork for use in products, technical manuals, literature, newsletters, and slide shows.
  • Design advertisements, reports, artwork, publication pages and covers, brochures, logos, signage, web pages, social media posts, and other branding and communication materials.
  • Revisions of design briefs to fit budget and concepts / specifications more closely.
  • Test graphics across various media.
  • Work as a team to address the graphic design needs of various projects.
  • Responsible for quality projects being developed on time and within budget. Ensure scope changes are processed and incorporated into the current scope of work in a timely manner.
  • Provides estimates and pricing for changes to work scope.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications.
  • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • College degree or equivalent and minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to hold self and others accountable for high-quality, timely, and effective results.
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high-level and consistent work ethic in all work-related duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications.
  • Real estate industry experience a plus
  • Strong print production knowledge highly desired.

  

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong project management and organization skills, a keen eye for aesthetics with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge of design and visual principles.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.).
  • Proficiency with full Microsoft Office suite, and willingness/ability to learn and effectively utilize other software systems.
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently, while maintaining productive team relationships with colleagues both inside and outside the organization.
  • High level of effective interpersonal skills, ability to maintain effective working relationships and accommodate diverse working styles.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage expectations and the scope and scale of projects.
  • Attention to detail composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines, often under pressure.
