Overview

Responsible for collaborating with the Sales Lead/Inside Sales Representative to ensure their orders are properly delivered, merchandised, and priced. Assists with customer needs, submits replenishment orders, and builds good working relationships with account personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with stocking shelves, resetting coolers, and creating displays for their purchased products • Solidifies strong customer relationships • Works with customer to understand areas where support is needed and then provides this help (i.e. will calls, POS delivery, etc.) • Places prices and descriptive signs on product • Checks account’s on hand inventory and submits replenishment orders to fill gaps • Prepares and maintains displays • Accurately sorts, labels, and stores goods • Maintains merchandising reports • Surveys the account for merchandising opportunities and presents promotional activities/material that will improve their representation in the store • Reports competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor • Covers open sales territory, as needed and as applicable, due to absence or vacation • This position could require the employee to work some nights, some weekends, and/or some holidays

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of product. Experience stocking shelves and understanding of how to create product displays.
