This is a 9 month contract position

Responsibilities

What will our Finance lead (contract) do?

This position will be the Finance lead on a Payroll Migration project for the Rentokil North America Business.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Define and manage the implementation of the RI Global Chart of accounts into the target payroll system
• Define and test the system generated GL feed to the finance system, ensuring the correct coding of all costs to the relevant GL code and ensuring the feed reconciles to the payroll records
• Define, document and test a reconciliation process from the target payroll system to the GL and to the payments made.
• Define document and test a process for generating the necessary payroll accruals directly to the GL system
• Ensure effective controls including SOX controls are in place and aligned to the process flows and RACM
• Attend all project meetings, being the Finance representative as part of the Project team
• Provide updates to the financial controller and CFO on progress, escalating issues as appropriate

What do you need? 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Qualified accountant, with minimum 5 years post qualification experience
• Experience in General ledger, chart of accounts and reconciliation work in a complex system and finance organisation
• Experience with Workday system a plus
• Project Management skills and experience desired
• Payroll transition experience desired
• A solid understanding of financial systems and technology
• Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication
• Experience of Internal Controls
• Must pass pre-employment background screen
