RentACoop LLC is a rapidly growing family operated business which includes both a warehouse in Frederick, MD and a farm in Germantown, MD. The two focuses of our business are education and product creation for poultry and other small animals. Our educational division provides classrooms, families and others the products along with curriculum to experience the joys of hatching chicks or caring for egg laying hens. The product development division designs, manufactures and distributes products for poultry and small household pets. The RentACoop flock, while small, is packed with a variety of diverse and fun individuals who all share a passion for animals and their care. The flock's creative teamwork and continuous communication pushes our product development and the content of our educational programs to be a cut above competitors.

We are currently looking for a part time/full time Inventory Control Associate to join our products team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing inventory systems, processes and guidelines to achieve growth, balance supply and demand along with maintaining exceptional inventory results. The role of Inventory Control Associate will be based at our warehouse in Frederick, Maryland but this position can be 50/50 onsite/remote. 

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

● Ensure all technology platforms, such as CIN7, are constantly updated with the most accurate product descriptions and inventory amounts.● Be able to analyze all products and supply levels to anticipate any potential issues and proactively remedy them.● Evaluate all current inventory control practices to ensure all deliveries, shipment and product levels are optimized ● Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory● Work with Warehouse Management Team to make sure inventory is organized and accurate● Collaborate with Warehouse Management Team and other staff to ensure business goals are met ● Keep all departments informed abreast of any inventory concerns ● Report to the Senior Leadership Team regarding stock levels, issues etc.● Ensure quality control protocols are followed● Ensure there are proper reports of all purchases and pricing by completing necessary audits, as needed.

Minimal Qualifications:

● Must be reliable, professional and have excellent record-keeping abilities● Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks● Must display a high proficiency in both MS Office programs and inventory software● Advanced knowledge of Cin7 and Inventory Planner inventory management software ● Advanced understanding of and ability to navigate Amazon Seller, Shopfiy and other inventory/shipping platforms● Creative problem solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to proactively find solutions ● Advanced understanding of shipping programs; Shipstation, USPS, FedEx, UPS● Bachelor's degree (business, finance, logistics or accounting or related field) preferred with 5 year experience in inventory management, Associate Degree with a minimum of 8 year experiences in inventory management or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

● APCIS CPIM certification, preferred● Fluent in Spanish, preferred

Physical Qualifications:

● Ability to lift 50 lbs, on occasion● Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the warehouse.

Hours and Schedule:Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PMFull-time employees receive up to 80 hours paid time off annually, 7 paid holidays along with medical, dental and vision benefits.
