Steel Dust Recycling, is America’s newest facility dedicated to recovering zinc and lead from the industrial waste stream. SDR is part of Grupo PROMAX, world's leading producer of zinc processing, with solutions in the industrial, pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors, with innovative products that transform lives, environments and industries, always focused on environmental care. SDR plant recycles Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steel dust utilizing the Waelz Kiln technology. EAF dust, generated by steel mills contains zinc. SDR's brand-new facility specializes in the reclamation of zinc and other metals from this dust. SDR’s main product is Waelz Oxide also known as Crude Zinc Oxide (CZO). This product is transformed into zinc oxide, zinc sulfate or zinc metal by zinc smelters. Our plant also produces Waelz Iron Product (WIP), an Iron Concentrate.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assist Maintenance Manager with electrical awareness, compliance of instrumentation and electrical equipment to support keeping the operation running online.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively learn and follow safety procedures.
• Create Yearly & monthly Maintenance plan, budget and Procedure.
• Assist the Manager, Facilities, in development of long/short range plans, conceptual designs, and layout requirements and documentation for Plant.
• Support site technicians, technically and undertake thechnical report.
• Manage suppliers and contractors performing work at the site and ensures services and costs are reviewed and validated.
• Analysis FEMA, Prepare 8D report to Electrical equipment accicients/incidents.
• Make repair plan and Stand of Procedure for Calibration and inspection.
• Have a basic working knowledge of HMI & PLC.
• Manage maintenance spare materials.
• Effectively communicate work progress and current status with Maintenance Lead, technicians, and Production team.
• Review and comply with hazardous controls and systems.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL / EDUCATION:

• Requires University Electrical engineering or Electronic engineering or equivalent
• Requires Less than three years experience in Plant.
• Must have basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft programs.
• A working knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Time management with multi-tasking skills and proficiency.
• Effective communication abilities with peers, supervisors and management.
