Location

As the largest smoke-free, non-gaming hotel in Las Vegas, the 548-room Renaissance is a fresh, welcoming alternative for business and leisure travelers. Sleek and stylish, the hotel delivers modern design and sophisticated details throughout their guest rooms, social venues and the signature restaurant, ENVY Steakhouse. The hotel offers exciting programming including 50-minute fitness classes, Kona Craft Beer, and an in-room amenity upon arrival, all complimentary to the guest.

Overview

  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines across all properties.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the cluster accounting office.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems via critical thinking, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze drivers of hotel operating results and recommended actions to improve.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with Senior Leadership, Regional Leaders, and General Managers to develop, implement, and monitor improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Drive operations projects to improve efficiency and profitability of hotels.
  • Optimize daily/weekly/monthly operations reporting to inform/enable property and operations management.
  • Ad hoc analysis scenario analysis, multi-year modeling to support business requirements.
  • Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes as required.
  • Participate in pro forma generation, market research and analysis, and investment return modeling.
  • Ability to create detailed presentations via Excel and Power Point.
  • Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in finding and implementing solutions.

Qualifications

  • Finance or Hospitality Management degree preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis and project management is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop, document and maintain operational policies and procedures, including the designing and documenting detailed process flows, and the development of operational performance and quality metric standards and reports.
