Overview

This is an internal "Expression of Interest" (EOI) for active union members of Teamsters Local 35, and will be posted for 6 business days. 

The Material Handler reports to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for supplying packaging lines with appropriate components, materials, and removing finished product.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies Renaissance Core Values.• Must maintain a professional appearance. • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record. • Performs job functions in conformance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) specifically associated with his/her assigned tasks and generally as a Renaissance employee.o Able to describe his/her job functions in order to demonstrate proficiencyo Maintains qualifications/proficiencies through continuous training and monitoring. o Continues to develop within his/her current role through additional proficiencies relevant to his/her job functions. • Must follow written procedures and guidelines relevant to his/her job functiono Gown postingso Staging sheetso Batch record instructions• Reads, comprehends, and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).• Delivers staged materials to the production lines from the warehouse.o The Material Handler is responsible to ensure the production lines are supplied with the correct components. o Correct components and materials are confirmed by the Material Handler prior to bringing the components to the production lines. • Brings approved finished goods into the warehouse and wraps for shipping.• Receives assignments from Operations Supervisor and /or Group Leader. o Assists with setting up production lines.o Assists with maintaining materials during a production run.o Assists with closing a production run. o Maintains ample gowning supplies in the production area.• Safely operates equipment relevant to his/her job functions including but not limited to:o Standard pallet jacko Electric lift jackso Shrink wrappero Pallet flippero Tape machine• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:High school diploma/ GED

Experience:Entry level – no experience required.
