Description
General Definition:
Manage the planning and development of company databases utilized throughout all GGS properties. They will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues for any system user and assist company needs in any database maintenance, queries, and updates for the SQL databases. As the Database Administrator, they will be the subject matter expert for all databases reports and database diagnosis for GGS, LLC. This position will be responsible for refining and automating regular processes, tracking issues, and documenting changes in regards to database management.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Related field and 4 years of computer based experience in a System Administrator role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of database queries, database theory, database design, RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SQL, SQL/PSM, Transact-SQL
• Skilled in SSAS and Microsoft DAX Language a plus
• Advanced skills in problem solving
• Proficient in organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to enter a smoke-filled environment as needed OR Must be able to work in a smoke-filled casino environme
