Barrier is hiring for commercial construction projects in the Temple, TX area.
We are looking for self-starters and team players who are ready to learn on the job and will maintain quality standards as a caulker/Waterproofer. Barrier specializes in air barriers, firestopping, perimeter joints, curtain wall insulation and waterproofing.

Required Experience:

• 2 year commercial construction experience
• Know how to use caulk gun and other basic hand tools
• History of good attendance and reliability
• Comfortable working at various heights on man lifts
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs, load and unload scope materials, machinery, and tools and distribute them to appropriate location
• Must have personal reliable vehicle
• Must pass drug test (including marijuana)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in waterproofing, caulking and sealants in commercial construction environment
• OSHA 10 certification

Compensation:

• $26-$30 hour, competitive wages based on experience

Examples of our work include: installing caulking in expansion, contraction, and control joints in interior and exterior masonry, carpentry door frames to masonry, windows to masonry, louvers to masonry, coping joints, concrete paving joints, saw cuts, EIFS and hardcoat stucco joints utilizing silicone, urethane, and acrylic-based sealants. This department would be a good transition if you have experience as waterproofer (waterproofing), journeyman carpenter, finish caulker (caulking), mason (masonry), concrete finisher, drywall finisher, commercial painter (painting), commercial roofing, handyman, make-ready, glazier, or in finish concrete, brick work, stucco, concrete restoration, traffic, deck and epoxy coating, polyurethane, Damp proofing, vapor barrier.
