RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking an experienced OSP Engineer that will be responsible for design and oversight of the installation of telecommunications equipment and facilities infrastructure such as complex electronic switching systems to wired and, wireless and fiber optic telephone facilities. The primary responsibility of the OSP Engineer revolves around the construction and maintenance of plant infrastructure design and engineering as well as providing route analysis of underground and aerial fiber optic installations. ****This work will take place in Irbil Iraq.****

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design and oversight of the installation of telecommunications equipment and facilities, such as complex electronic switching systems to wired and, wireless and fiber optic telephone facilities.
• Provides support for the customers electronics, civil, structural, and electrical engineering requirements as necessary.
• Performs as Project Manager as needed.
• Responsible for providing the best solution possible for the lowest cost to the customer.

• Set up and manage project resources per the project budget
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Constantly monitor and report on progress to the Project Manger
• Participate in progress meetings with clients

Education, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering Technology or related field
• 6-8 years of related experience (preferred)
• Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities. Tactful and mature.
• Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes
• Should be able to lay indoor fiber cables as per instructions and perform cable jointing task as needed
• Oversee the performance of equipment and troubleshoot as needed
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Required
