Check out this exciting new opportunity to join our team as a Software Development intern Job Function: Currently in an undergraduate or graduate academic program with a significant software development component. Basic Knowledge of applicable development languages including but not limited to: .Net Core, Javascript, TypeScript, Angular 4 , REST, Web Api, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows. Programming language training in Java or C# a plus. Familiarity with industry best practices - Unit Testing, Object Oriented Programming/Design, SOLID Principles, CI, CD, Trunk based development Basic Knowledge of data manipulation languages. Basic Understanding of data modeling principles. Knowledge of data storage subsystems. Knowledge of test-driven development. Desire and Ability to learn new processes and technologies. Basic oral and written communication skills. Primary Responsibilities May Include: Working with Senior Engineers, design and implement modules for a large scale web application. Working with Senior Engineers, design and implement proof of concepts and utilities to aid in the engineering process. Conduct research to aid Senior Engineers in decision making. Perform maintenance and bug fixes of existing web applications. Daily Tasks: Coding proof of concepts based on requirements and guidelines. Coding unit tests based on requirements and guidelines. Participate in daily scrum and collaborative design sessions. Communicating findings from research tasks. Manage your own project tasks, re-work, schedule, and email communications. Other tasks as needed for successful project completion.
