Reltio Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team. This role will own all aspects of General Ledger functions and will work very closely with all of our employees and vendors. This position will report to the VP, Controller.

Primary Responsibilities

• Scale, mentor, and manage the payables team, current one staff.
• Responsible for the monthly AP close process including preparation of the journal entries, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Manage the processing of invoices and employee travel and expense reports to ensure timely and accurate payment.
• Review vendor invoices to ensure coding accuracy.
• Answer questions, contact vendors and internal customers to resolve any problems.
• Establish workflows and ensure costs are correctly coded and recorded in a timely manner to the correct accounting period and make recommendations on improving the process.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure invoices are received by deadline enabling an efficient and prompt month end close process.
• Familiarity with California sales/use tax, W-9 and W8-BEN.
• Weekly payment processing via ACH and wire payments
• Weekly payables projections to facilitate cash flow management
• Provide good customer service and support to internal departments and external vendors with respect to various accounts payable inquiries.
• Maintain the 1099 data and ensure timely filing.
• Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits by external auditors, including preparation of required schedules, reconciliations, analyses and respond to questions posed by auditors.
• Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in documenting, developing and maintaining policies and procedures as required.
• Drive process improvements to further streamline our payables cycle and close processes as we expand our transactional volume.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Accounting preferred. 
• Requires 5 to 7 years of Accounts Payable accounting experience is required.
• Candidate should be able to work and adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and ability to prioritize the work. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Current working knowledge of Netsuite, Brex, Concur is a plus.
