PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE - AXIS SPINE CLINIC

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Aide to join our Axis Spine Team! 

This position will be on-call, likely 1 shift per week!

We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Aide for our Axis Spine office. At our Axis Spine Center, we believe in delivering first class patient care, treating every person in our clinic with respect and kindness, and seeking for continuous improvement. Our physical therapy team provides comprehensive, patient-centered care that works to assess each patient’s strengths and weaknesses to devise effective team-based treatment plans, in accordance with the physician’s orders. 

The Physical Therapy Aide position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of safe, effective patient centered care in a clinical outpatient setting, for all patient populations. The Physical Therapy Aide supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and will do the following:

• Help record flow sheet documentation and gather pertinent medical information from the EMR system for the patient’s visit.
• Perform interventions and patient related tasks under the direction of the Physical Therapists.
• Provide sanitization of equipment and laundry duties/re-stocking of treatment areas with daily operations.
• Provide support with administrative duties, as necessary to include communication with patients & other practices, scheduling, & filing
• Assist with other responsibilities & projects as determined by their supervisor

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• High School Diploma 
• Interest in the medical or sports fields, with a kinesiology/physiology background
• Strong medical terminology background preferred
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Understand and adhere to the federal confidentiality regulations
