Reid Health is Hiring a Project Manager Near Richmond, IN

Overview

The Project Manager is a member of a program/project management team responsible for keeping the project organized and running smoothly. The Project Manager works alongside the Manager, Project Management Office to track and dispense all the information the various team members need to do their jobs effectively. The Project Manager is responsible for keeping the entire project running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Meets with the clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Makes certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves. Ensures clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Help prepare Request for Information (RFI), project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budget.
  • Monitors and tracks project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Acts as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
  • Organizes meetings and team celebrations.
  • Arranges for meetings between team members, and between team members and clients.
  • Records minutes at meetings and published same with 24 hours after meeting.
  • Keeps detailed project notes and records.
  • Uses project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and money spend.
  • Coordinates all appropriate legal paperwork.
  • Reports and escalates to management as needed.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Writes a weekly report about the project progress and its accomplishments.
  • Attends clients’ meetings and assists with the determination of project requirements.
  • Prepares a business case for the assigned projects.
  • Effectively and accurately communicates relevant project information to the client and project team.
  • Assists the Program and Manager, Project Management Office in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval.
  • Communicates ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
  • Keeps the Program and Manager, Project Management Office, and others informed about project status and issues that may impact the project objectives.
  • Perform other duties as specified by the Manager, Project Management Office.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Education/Experience Required/Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience required.
  • Two years’ experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare field required.
