Duties and Responsibilities

The Real Estate Loan Specialist has the opportunity to assist the executive team in evaluating, monitoring and producing reports for new and existing loans within the multi-family residential portfolio. 
 
What you’ll do as a Commercial Real Estate Loan Specialist:
 
- Produce reports for lenders, including construction budgets, property cash flows (current and future), rent rolls, locations, property types, repayment sources, collateral, financial & reporting covenants, and tenant analysis.- Analyze current and proposed property operating statements and/or tax returns and have a complete understanding of cash flow reports, financial ratios, trends, etc.
- Provide the executive team support with loan refinancing, modifications and extensions. 
- Coordinate meetings with lenders, legal counsel, and accounting team.
- Compliance with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance.

Qualifications

What skills you will use: 
- Prefer of 2 years as a commercial loan officer assistant or processor with hands on knowledge of loan products and guidelines.- Knowledge of lending techniques and practices, loan documentation, compliance with federal and state regulations.- High degree of confidentiality.- Excellent customer service and a positive attitude.- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment

- Bilingual / fluent in English and Spanish

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
