Responsibilities include:

  • Administer general or local anesthesia for medical procedures and surgical cases with a high grade of care and expertise, following proper medical practice and state regulations, in a variety of settings: preparation and evaluation, maintenance, post-anesthesiologic care unit
  • Discharging patients from a post-anesthesia care unit
  • Providing follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia
  • Ordering and modifying pain relief for patients. This can include drug administration or regional anesthesiologic techniques
  • Providing clinical support in different departments
  • Additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities include any area of expertise of the individual CRNA, based on experience and practice, as authorized by leading doctors and medical staff
  • Maintaining confidentiality will all personal data in accordance with policies 

Requirements:

·Unencumbered active CRNA license

·1 year CRNA experience
