Reema Health is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near Minneapolis, MN

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports To: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Our mission-driven and member-focused company is seeking an experienced and highly self-motivated HR Generalist to join our team!

The HR Generalist will be responsible for a broad range of duties and projects across multiple disciplines of human resources, including but not limited to; talent acquisition, employee benefits, training and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. A key focus of this position will be on full cycle recruiting supporting growth in our community care teams and technology teams. This essential team member will report to the Human Resources Business Partner and will work closely with Reema Health’s leadership team and hiring managers. To be successful in this role, you should be able to establish and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires, hiring managers, and employees. You should also thrive on curiosity, collaboration, and creativity with goals to elevate yourself, your work, and the organization.

You should apply for this role if you:

  • Are passionate about supporting and managing candidates through a full-cycle recruiting process, with the goal of hiring diverse and high-performing talent aligned to Reema’s mission and values. 
  • Can increase speed, volume, and quality of hires as Reema continues to scale and implement in new markets. Are also willing to do some national travel.
  • Want to be a partner to hiring managers to identify role competencies, create job descriptions, assess candidate qualifications, and support the overall hiring strategy and execution.
  • Can lead a rigid compliance process on all hiring activities including background checks, drug screenings, offer contingencies, I-9s, and other talent acquisition policies.
  • Want to support Reema’s learning and development initiatives by creating virtual and onsite training programs alongside cross functional teams.
  • Want to impact the employee experience by iterating and implementing onboarding and offboarding processes to support new hires, internal movement, and departures.
  • Are passionate about driving diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that cultivates a ‘best place to work’ environment and creates a sense of belonging within the organization.
  • Are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’ to help manage PEO, HRIS, and ATS platforms, ensuring data integrity and timely processing of employee transactions.
  • Can support and resolve employee relations issues in partnership with the HRBP. 
  • Can assist with annual performance review, compensation, and benefits processes.
  • Can support and maintain vendor relationships outside of Reema to scale HR initiatives related but not limited to; third party talent networks, benefits, payroll, and employment law.
  • Can champion day-to-day HR tasks and other duties or projects assigned.

A few requirements to consider:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least two years of full-cycle recruiting experience is required. Experience with recruiting human and social service roles is preferred. Experience with recruiting technical roles is a plus.
  • At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience with HRIS and ATS platforms is required; BambooHR is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment within and outside of the organization. Awareness and respect for various dimensions of diversity.
  • Ability to navigate change and ambiguity in a startup environment.
  • Knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including talent acquisition, employee benefits, training and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of all related computer and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, and Video Conferencing is required; G-Suite is preferred.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
