Summary:

Position Responsibilities:

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for admissions and registration process. The coordinator completes intake paperwork and scheduling by phone or a walk-in process. They perform a variety of administrative responsibilities to assist in the coordination of care. In this role, you will gather information from referral sources, triages phone calls as appropriate, and respond to requests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients upon arrival, answer phone, schedule intake and follow-up appointments.
• Complete intake paperwork with clients and file in a timely manner.
• Schedule interpreters for upcoming appointments as requested.
• Follow up with clients on the status of their appointments.
• Input information into the Electronic Medical Record.
• Coordinate with other agencies to obtain collateral information.
• Manages insurance authorizations to maintain continued care.
• Supports the treatment team and housing team by completing assigned tasks.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience working in and office setting or behavioral health field (Preferred)
• Bilingual is preferred
