About the Role: 

RSF is looking for an exceptionally well-organized, creative, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our marketing team as Marketing Content Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a process-oriented, go-getter who wants to become a key part of a forward-thinking team and get their hands dirty in numerous aspects of marketing.

The core mission of the Marketing Content Specialist is: 

For this role, we’re looking for a content marketer with an exceptional writing and graphic design background eager to own all factors related to the enhancement of company marketing content.

You will work cross-functionally within our digital marketing team and will be responsible for reviewing and editing social content to ensure quality and consistency in our brand. Other responsibilities include creating content for other marketing efforts such as Landing Pages, Home Pages, Emails, social media, Blog Articles, Digital Display Ads, Sales Materials, Power Point Decks, Corp Signage and more. This person will be part of a team creating a steady stream of organic content, manage calendar, test new content ideas, as well as provide regular performance metrics.

You have worked within a marketing team, can crank out digital media in their sleep, will die on the hill of the Oxford comma (in favor of its use, of course), can create awesome graphic design and has experience representing organizations via social media platforms.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and keep our online presence current and relevant through social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). 
  • Maintain and update blog and social media calendar. 
  • Creating graphics for posts or work with graphic designer. 
  • Help manage branded graphics process and assets library. 
  • Coordinate the development of sales and marketing materials (such as sell sheets, print and digital content) collaborating with the sales team to effectively promote our brand. 
  • Email A/B Test promotions, subject lines, creative to find what drives the best outcome. 
  • Support creative with ideation of campaign & assets. Execute on creative support 
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of emerging social media platforms. 
  • Innovate, and help manage content creation, including creating briefs for creative teams. 
  • Manage detailed timelines for asset development and execution. 
  • Drive social media channels’ growth and ensure posts are in alignment with brand positioning and long-term goals. 
  • Publish posts daily, checking for accuracy and performance throughout the day. 
  • Leverage reporting tools to pull social engagement data, assist with evaluation of social creative and suggested optimizations based on data. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Requires a BA or BS degree in communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, business, or related field. 
  • Requires 3-5 years’ experience in communications, public relations and/or marketing, including digital, social, and traditional advertising experience. 
  • Ability to work highly independently, meet project deadlines, and show initiative. 
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills. 
  • Highly organized, with copywriting and verbal communication skills. 
  • Collaborative, creative, and adaptive work style. 
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (i.e., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest) and when/how to leverage each for brand presence and customer engagement. 
  • Creative eye for engaging aesthetically pleasing content. 
  • Superior time management skills. 
  • Experience working in Asana or other Content Management System. 
  • Design experience in Adobe’s design tools.
  • HubSpot Academy and Google Analytics certifications.

Pay Range: $70K 

FLSA Exemption Status: Salaried (Exempt)
